Research and Development

The continuous improvement and the company’s willingness , with a steady growth and market presence, have been led to the formalization of an area dedicated to research and development because in a rapidly changing market, the innovation capacity is very important. The Research and Development area represents therefore an investment in full synergy with business activities.

Target of the Research and Development department is to explore and make new technologies own in order to meet the needs of customers and propose new and competitive solutions

Among the activities of the R&D there are design and prototype development of electronic control systems in the aeronautical , automotive and industrial areas.

Main activities are:

• Modelling and simulation of electromechanical system.
• Design of electronic control device for embedded systems with motorized bodies and micro-controller.
• Design and prototyping of CNC machine.
• Rapid prototyping with dSpace.
• Threephase inverter for electric traction.
• Hardware e firmware design for electric bike
• Acquisition data by embedded systems with micro processor.
• Consulting services in automotive sector.

R&D has developed a new, simply, user-friendly and competitive-price software for UHF RFID aerospace application (SAE AS5678) – LMS RFID. The software is compliant with ATA Spec 2000 Ch 9-5.

Nowadays Lead Tech is involved in a R&D framework program to develop an data recorder system to monitor and acquire sismic data in Gulf of Pozzuoli (near Naples).

R&D main tools are CATIA, Altium, Matlab, QT5 e Eagle.

Finally, R&D department cooperates actively with several University of Naples, CNR Istituto Motori, INGV-OS of Naples and CIRA.
